BBR Board of Directors meeting was called to order by President Warren Ferguson. Directors in attendance of the meeting were: Tom Driscoll, Lonnie McClelland, Kevin Miller and Warren Ferguson. Also in attendance were POA members:

Discussion of Old Business
- Garage Sale Update – Met with Lawyer and our rules allow for the board to make a decision. Approved. Jim Waldson gave the follow update:
- Two sales per year… Scheduling the first sale for October 26.
- Plan is to advertise in the newspaper.
- Scheduled sale will be from 8am – 4pm with the gate held-open
- Ballons to mark which house is participating. More details to follow. Posting information to the neighborhood Facebook page.
- Garage Sale Update – Met with Lawyer and our rules allow for the board to make a decision. Approved. Jim Waldson gave the follow update:
- Lots for Sale…The (2) Farm land properties have sold for $199,000.
- House plans have been submitted by the builders to the ARC.
Discussion of New Business
- POA Secretary position – Kevin Miller
- Treasurer debit card approved.
- Looking into updating the POA website for online dues payments, should members want to do this for 2025.
- Limb pick-up…Approved. Kevin to get DeadWood and another quote.
- VFD fire chief Gary Tillerson has stepped down, Matt Jackson is new chief.
- Propose BBR finish the pad and get the pump upgraded
- POA has a “Contract Procurement Policy” (required by TX law for jobs $50k+)
- New Neighbors coming.
- 3500 Old Barn – Anthony & Linda Swindall (purchased Everett’s place)
- 3307 Old Barn – John & Marie Upton (purchased Port’s place)
- 3500 Lakota Ct – Kimberly Ann Ford & Anthony “Tony” David Serra (purchased Knoxx place) Moving in from ID but not until November.
POA member concerns / questions.
- Water tank needs footing. Approved but waiting on VFD re-engagement.
- Pond timing / gameplan
- Upload to the website a timeline and action plan for the next steps on the pond.
- Poison for roads needed by Jim Waldson. Board approved him to go buy it for reimbursement.
- Ask Lloyd to mow: Down by Don and the ditch off Farm Land
- Tom Ferguson asked for help getting onto the neighborhood website. Warren action.
- Veanesse Ferguson asked that the front entrance have the roses trimmed, other sign replaced and the weeds addressed. She offered to help with decorating.
- Get with Jim W. for pattern & Kevin for wood – Subsequent action taken and underway.
- Setup paint meeting for front gate/entrance
- Spray weed killer.
- Don requested that the website have an input form so that neighbors can submit suggestions, requests, ideas for board action. – Warren to see about creating such a page.
- Send Lloyd’s information to Kerry King for new neighbors. **Done
